PHILMONT SCOUT RANCH EXPEDITION

Scout must be 14 years of age OR be at least 13 years of age and completed the 8th grade prior to participation.

Martin Koca did not give precise figures on the cost, including transportation, as it depends on how the troop gets to Philmont, either by train or air. The choice is the Council’s. He thought something in the range of $1200 - $1300 for train and $1500 - $1600 for air though there may be an increase in the Philmont charges.
