WEBELOS WOODS Campout

MISSION:   FRI  Nov 3-5, 2023   CAMP McKEE

We will meet at the church, and DEPART at 6:00 pm SHARP.  So show  up at 5:30 to pack gear.

Webelos will travel to each campsite to learn scout skills. Troop 73 will be assigned a skill to teach them at friday meeting.

Cost  $25 for campout

Bring about $5 extra for Dairy Queen on Sunday.  Sundae on Sunday

On Sunday, please return to pick up scouts around 1 pm.  We will call when we depart.

Saturday Nov 4

  • 6:30am to 8:30am Breakfast / Clean-up
  • 8:45am Flag Raising Ceremony
  • 9:00am – 12:15pm Morning Program
  • 12:15pm – 1:30pm Lunch
  • 1:45pm – 5:00pm Afternoon Program
  • 5:15pm Flag Lowering Ceremony
  • 5:30pm to 7:15pm Dinner / Clean-up
  • 7:30pm to 8:30pm Campfire
  • 8:30pm Indian Ceremony
  • 11pm Lights Out

Sunday Nov 5

  • 7:00am to 8:30am Breakfast / Clean-up
  • 8:45am Flag Ceremony
  • 9:00am Scouts Own Service
  • 9:30am to 11:00am Checkout / Patches at Keeneland

__Wet Weather Protection Gear (Rain Jacket and Pants- pants are optional)

NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ALLOWED ON TRIP.   (gameboys, DVD players, phones)

NOTICE!!
Sheath, butterfly, and survival type knives, etc. are not allowed on
the reservation. IF brought, the Scoutmaster should hold them until the Scout returns home. 

All fuel (propane, white gas) must be checked in and held by an adult until it is needed. Only adult leaders should handle fuel.
